The Martin V. Cornetta Order Sons of Italy in America Collection (1922-1987) consists of records of the OSIA Virginia Grand Lodge. The Lodge was founded in 1922, dissolved by the early 1940s, and was reactivated in 1949. Records include documents from Supreme Convention and Council meetings (1970s). Grand Lodge records include correspondence and reports (1965-1987), grand convention records (1963-1981), financial ledgers (1966-1984), per capita reports (1967-1984), photographs, including one of the Grand Council (1950), a photocopy of a letter from Governor Trinkle to the Grand Venerable (1922), and another of an insurance policy issued by the Unione Italiana Umberto I (1939).
